The city is the entrance of the Bretagne region because it is located in the east area. There is a bus bound for Mont-St-Michel. We find buildings decorated in the reginal style. ★Go to Jean Janvier St in front of the station as far as a river. It takes 15 minutes by walk.
②Art Museum★Go to Emile Zola St beside the museum as far as République Square. Then, go to Orléans St and turn left at Mairie Square to go to Chapitre St. It takes 5 minutes.
③Au Petit Grenier★Continue to walk on the street and turn right at the end. It takes 5 minutes.
④St-Pierre Cathedral★Go straight when you leave from the cathedral. You’ll find a gate in a path. It takes a few minutes.
⑤Mordelaises Gate★Go to Monnaie St from the cathedral and turn left at the first crossroad. Go straight on the street.
⑥Sainte-Anne Square★Go to the church in the square.
⑦St-Aibin Church★Go to Saint-Melaine St beside the church by the end. It takes 15 minutes.
⑧Saint-Melaine Church★Go down Général Maurice Guillaudot St in front of the church and turn right at the second crossroad. When you arrive at Parlement de Bretagne Square, go to Edith Cavell St and turn left at the first crossroad. It takes 15 minutes.
⑨St-German Church★Go to Saint-German Rue as far as the river and pass it. As you arrive at the street where you have already walked, go back to the station with the same route. It takes 20 minutes.

It is a neo-classical style cathedral. The color combination of brown columns and gold-framed ceiling is a feature not often found in other churches. It is a place you cannot miss when visiting Rennes.

This church is located next to a beautiful garden. The interior is small and simple, but the huge mural is a sight to behold. Parc du Thabor, located behind the church, is a favorite spot among locals. The grounds are so large that it takes about an hour to walk around.
