★Go to Georges Clemenceau Avenue as far as Liberté Square. It takes 10 minutes by walk.

②Tourist Information Center

★Go to Siam St from the square and turn right at the first crossroad. It takes 5 minutes.

③Saint-Louis Church

★Go back to Siam St and go to Traverse St on the left hand. When you go through a park, turn right. It takes 15 minutes.

④Art Museum

★Go back to Siam St and pass Recouvrance Bridge. Then, visit a tower on the left hand. It takes 20 minutes.

⑤Tanguy Tower

★Pass the bridge again and turn right immediately to go to Marine Boulevard. It takes 15 minutes.

⑥Brest Naval Museum

★Go to Denver St to return to the station. It takes 20 minutes by walk.

It is a church with a modern appearance. The interior is equally unique, with one wall having few windows. It has a modern structure because the city was rebuilt after it was burned down during World War II. The stained glass on the other side is decorated with paintings that give a feel of modern art.


★Go back to Siam St and go to Traverse St on the left hand. When you go through a park, turn right. It takes 15 minutes.

It is a museum in a modern building. Although the number of exhibits is small, paintings are mainly on display. Special exhibitions are frequently held in the basement.


★Go back to Siam St and pass Recouvrance Bridge. Then, visit a tower on the left hand. It takes 20 minutes.

This tower was once part of the citadel and is now used as a museum to introduce the town. There is no observation deck inside, but the life of the town in the past is expressed in miniature.


★Pass the bridge again and turn right immediately to go to Marine Boulevard. It takes 15 minutes.


⑥Brest Naval Museum

This museum is housed in the fortress that once protected this town. It feels like you are exploring inside a fortress. Inside, the exhibits center around things related to the sea and ships. You can see the sea from the castle walls.


★Go to Denver St to return to the station. It takes 20 minutes by walk.
