This museum is named after a great navigator and is housed in a waterfront building that gives off a modern art feel. Many materials and models related to yachts and ships are on display. This museum is a renovated former naval diving base. You can learn about the development and history of submarine technology in Lorient through videos, materials, and reproductions of submarine interiors. You can also enjoy a spectacular light and sound show that lasts approximately 15 minutes.

This tower was built in 1737. A well-known local monument that has gazed upon Lorient for hundreds of years. Repairs due to deterioration were carried out until October 2019. Although it is currently not possible to climb up to the top, it can be seen from the port, and was active during the East India Company and World War II.

It is a modern church with a tower that is 54 meters high. Originally the Church of Saint-Louis, it was renamed and reborn in 1955 after being destroyed by bombing during World War II. The interior design incorporates contemporary art, which can be seen in the Christ statue and stained glass.
