The night view is also beautiful and is counted among Japan’s 100 best night views.

After getting off the ropeway, there is a building that includes a cafe and observation deck, and you can go even higher by taking the stairs behind it. There is a pagoda which commemorates the war dead of the Pacific War and commemorates peace. It was built by an organization made up of veterans from the Myanmar front, so it incorporates Myanmarese architecture.

Tokushima Central Park

Time required : 30 min

This park was once the site of Tokushima Castle. With the abolition of feudal domains and the establishment of prefectures during the Meiji Restoration, all buildings were abolished except for the Eagle Gate at the entrance to the park, so there is nothing left even when you go to the remains of the Honmaru citadel and other areas. The Eagle Gate was also burned down during World War II, but was restored with a private donation. In addition to the museum we will present later, the park also displays a statue of the feudal lord, Hachisuka Iemasa, and a steam locomotive that once ran through the town.
