①Limoges-Bénédictins Station

★Go to Général de Gaulle Avenue. When you arrive at Jourdan Square, go to Fleurus Boulevard. It takes 15 minutes by walk.

②Tourist Information Center

★Continue to walk on the street and when you arrive at Wilson Square, turn left to go to Raspail St. Then, turn left at the end and turn right to go to Allois St. It takes 10 minutes.

③St-Etienne Cathedral

★Go to Cathédrale St.

④Art Museum

★Continue to walk on the street in front of the museum and turn right at Georges Dumas Avenue.

⑤City Hall

★Go to Haute Vienne St and go up on a rampart to visit the center street. This is the Château district. Go straight by the end. It takes 15 minutes by walk.

⑥St-Michel Church

★Go to Motte Square and go to Darnet St. When you arrive at Aine Square, go to Victor Hugo Boulevard and turn left immediately. It takes 15 minutes.

⑦National Museum of the Porcelain Adtien Dubouché

★Go back the street and turn right at the first crossroad. When you reach at a round about, enter Liberation Avenue. Then you go through a park to return to the station. It takes 30 minutes by walk.

This is a Gothic church located in the center of the Cité district. The structure with the tower on the main gate side is impressive. Another highlight is the very delicate carvings that divide the interior of the church.

It was originally a bishop’s palace and was converted into an art museum. You can learn about the history of Limoges through the ages. You can see cloisonné from Limoges and works donated by Renoir. You can enjoy viewing the interior and structure of the mansion along with the artwork. We also recommend taking a walk in the park behind the building on sunny days.

This museum collects ceramics not only from France but also from all over the world. It starts with a step-by-step exhibition explaining how to make ceramics, then moves on to ceramics from various countries and finally to Limoges porcelain.
