This is the castle of the once prosperous Duchy of Savoie. You can learn about the history of the castle, which was built in the 10th century, by looking at the materials.

It is a late Gothic Flamboyant cathedral built in the 16th century. The exterior is unique in that only the center is made of stones of different colors. The interior decoration on the ceiling resembles lace, and the walls are decorated with paintings.
