①Perpignan Station 

★Go to Général de Gaulle Avenue in front of the station and turn right at the end to go to Lazare Escarguel Cours. Pass a bridge and go straight on the street. Then, turn left at a crossroad after a supermarket Casino. It takes 25 minutes by walk.

②Majorque King Palace

★Go to Archers St in front of the palace and go down a pedestrian street. Go straight and turn right at the dead end. It takes 10 minutes.

③Saint Mathieu Church

★Continue to walk on the street in front of the church.

④Arago Square

★Go to Ange St to enter the old area. Turn left at the second crossroad and go to Loge St at Jean Jaurès Square. It takes 10 minutes.

⑤City Hall

★Continue to walk on the street by the end. It takes 5 minutes.

⑥Cathedral of Perpignan

★Proceed to the next corridor.

⑦Campo Santo

★Return to Loge Square and turn right to go to Louis Blanc St. It takes 10 minutes.

⑧Castle

★Go to Nicolas Sadi Carnot St beside the river as far as the bridge which you’ve passed. Return to the station with the same route. It takes 25 minutes.

The Royal Palace of Mallorca was built from the 13th century onwards as the palace of King Jaime I of Mallorca. Although it is a royal palace, it is built more like a fortress. You can see the remains of that life, such as the chapel, and you can see the entire town from the top of the tower.


★Go to Archers St in front of the palace and go down a pedestrian street. Go straight and turn right at the dead end. It takes 10 minutes.


③Saint Mathieu Church

This cathedral has an exterior made of red brick and cobblestone. Once inside, you will notice that there is a long distance from the entrance to the chairs. The walls leading up to it are covered with paintings. You can see the red pattern on the ceiling.

It’s a huge cloister next to the cathedral. In the chapel, you can see modern art-style stained glass windows.

A castle gate made of red brick. It was used as a prison during the time of Louis XI. Today, you can learn about the history of this region as the Museum of the History of Northern Catalonia. You can also see the city from the top floor.
