Grindelwald

Check Point
・Small village that serves as a base for mountain climbing

・Mount First which can be reached by ropeway

・Mountain views of the Eiger, Jungfrau and more

Village description

Grindelwald is a small village at the foot of Mt. Eiger with a population of just under 4,000. It is also used as a base for going to mountains such as Jungfrau and Eiger. You can take a cable car from the village to Mt. First. The village has a beautiful townscape lined with hotels and restaurants for tourists, but there is nothing to see other than Mt. First, so your stay will be short, so I recommend stopping by on your way back from Jungfrau.
